Hosted in the heart of Sheffield

The Showroom

Our venue for larger meetups is the Showroom Cafe which is just a short walk from the train station. The venue has plenty of room, a projector and a bar.

Rultand Arms

Mid-sized meetups happen upstairs at the Rutland Arms which is just up the street from the Showroom. Here we have a smaller space with a projector and a bar downstairs.

Sheffield Tap

Our more casual & unorganized meetups happen at the Sheffield Tap and is part of Sheffield Train Station. It's a great modern real ale bar and we pre-book a few tables for chat & banter.

The after party...

After the session the group tend to hit a local bar, these are normally in either of the typical venues so look for us in either The Showroom Bar, The Rutland Arms or The Sheffield Tap

Who runs this?

The session is chaired by WordPress freelance consultant Kimb Jones a designer, developer and certified UK-WordPress rockstar (he wrote this himself).

You can follow Kimb on twitter for announcements of upcoming events and other general WordPress goings on or sign up to his mailing list.

Other regular attendees include Matt Watson, Ian Parr, Tim Nash (who organises WordPress Leeds), Simon Dunton and the Human Made team.

Sessions require sponsorship to pay for room hire, drinks and food on the night - this is currently provided by by the lovely people at Make Do (Kimb & Matt) and was previously lovingly provided by The GIST Foundation.
