We're planning a follow-up to the hugely successful WordCamp Sheffield 2015 next year. We need to decide on the scale and scope of the event and choose an appropriate new venue before our application is made.
Anyone who wishes to help out or know more should come along and get involved early in the process to share ideas.
In 2016 we plan to find a new venue for the meetup with more space for growth. We also plan to move back to monthly events as the previous one-on-one-off structure has confused things!
We're open to new ideas for venues and different talk structures. Also the potential to partner with other local groups and do non-WordPress themed meetups.
Lean Coffee is a great way to come together and share ideas, ask questions and get to know members of the WP Sheffield team.
This session will start by collecting discussion points, voting on which to take forward and then talking them over. Anything WordPress-related is allowed, so themes, plugins, REST API, custom development, problem solving, servers, deployment, whatever!
Sessions from industry professionals on WP-related topics.
Participants are encouraged to show off their projects.
Q&As discussions, rants, problem solving and general chatter.
The meetup is chaired & organised by Kimb Jones the Creative Managing Director of local-WordPress agency Make Do. Kimb is a designer, developer and certified UK-WordPress rockstar (he wrote this himself).
